CER China National Housing indeksen steg 2,2% til 108.05 i oktober fra en måned tidligere som etterspørselen etter nye boliger i Kina fortsatte å presse opp priser. Den sterke økningen reflektert større investorenes tillit i økonomien etter en gjenoppretting som begynte i tidlig Q3 og at kjøpere til boliger å leve i la deres pent opp etterspørselen i markedet etter å sitte på sidelinjen for mye av året i forventninger om at prisene vil komme ned. De har ikke.

 

Tier 1 byen ytre sub indeksen var best resultater, på 121.15. Egenskaper i midten av ytre delene av Kinas største byene var den mest populære blant kjøpere. Den gjennomsnittlige prisen på leilighet i disse områdene i Shanghai og Beijing slo RMB31, 062 per kvadratmeter i oktober, opp fra RMB25, 638.5 i November 2012, grunnlagsdatoen for indeksen.
